I am a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Afghanistan, a retired interior designer and now I am a free-form mobile maker and gardener. I have been making and perfecting my mobiles for the past five years, and the enjoyment has surpassed my ability to “stuff “ any more into our backyard or give them away, thus FAIRY LIGHTS.
I create mobiles of various sizes made with formed copper tubes, mirror pieces and colored glass hung and balanced from clear filament line. The copper is hand polished and sealed with clear enamel to retain its shine. Each mobile and its various parts swivel 360 degrees. The mirrors cast “dancing lights” across an entire yard or room as they reflect the sun or other light source, again: FAIRY LIGHTS. The mobiles are designed for indoor or semi-sheltered garden areas outdoors.
